DAY 1: SOUTH LUANGWA
» Meet at 08:30 in the morning, a free collection service is offered to clients in Lilongwe
» Depart Lilongwe at 09:00, continue to Mchinji, 1 and 1/2 hr drive
» Here we complete immigration formalities and continue to Mwami - the Zambian border, from the border it is a short drive to Chipata - Zambia's capital of the Eastern Province
» Proceed on a dirt road to Luangwa Valley - Mfuwe sector
» A picnic lunch is enjoyed en route and ETA at the Lodge is 2.30pm
» On arrival we check into our chalets followed by tea and coffee
» A gentle walk along the river is offered for those that wish
» Thornicroft Lodge

DAYS 2,3: SOUTH LUANGWA
» After a light snack with tea & coffee we depart for a morning drive at 06:00
» All game drives are undertaken in open game viewing vehicles, to optimise your pleasure and experience
» Drinks and snacks are taken along for your enjoyment whilst in the park
» Depending on game sightings, we return to the lodge at 11 for a scrumptious "brunch"
» An afternoon rest, swim, and tea then we again head out for our afternoon/ night drive at around 16H00 - returning to the lodge at 20:00
» Dinner
» Thornicroft Lodge

DAY 4: LAKE MALAWI
» This morning you have a more relaxing start to the day, breakfast then pack up and return back to Lilongwe
» A picnic lunch is eaten en route
» From Lilongwe we continue to for 1.1/2 hrs to Lake Malawi and Senga Bay
» Arrive at the Safari Beach Lodge in time for sundowners
» Overnight tented camp
» Dinner Bed and Breakfast
» Safari Beach Lodge

DAY 5: LAKE MALAWI
» Relaxing at Lake Malawi
» Non-motorized water sports included
» Dinner Bed and Breakfast
» Safari Beach Lodge

DAY 6: END OF SAFARI
» After breakfast, we transfer you to Lilongwe in time for your return flight or onward journey

It is the second deepest lake in Africa, although its placid northern shore gives no hint of its depth. This great lake's tropical waters reportedly are the habitat of more species of fish than that of any other body of water on the Earth.
