The Kruger National Park, South Africa's premier National Park with nearly 2 million hectares of unrivaled diversity. Kruger Park lodges range from bungalows to luxury safari lodges. Lodges are located in the Park itself or located in one of the many surrounding Game Reserves e.g. Sabi Sand, Timbavati, Klaserie and Thornybush. These names are world famous for their diversity of flora and fauna, yet each of the private Game Reserves differs from each other.
Of all the smaller private Game Reserves that border the Kruger National Park, it is the Sabi Sand Game Reserve that is most definitely the most well known amongst international and local travelers alike. With names like Singita, Londolozi, Sabi Sabi, Lion Sands and Malamala just to mention but a few.
Not only does the Sabi Sand Game Reserve border the Kruger National Park but there are also no fences between the two reserves. What does this mean you ask your self, well simply the wildlife moves freely between the two - what is found in the Kruger is found in the Sabi Sands.
